Who I Help
Business, Career and
Life Coaches
Coaching Sites That Work offers web design, web development and web marketing for business coaches, executive coaches, career coaches, health coaches, and relationships coaches.
Are you a professional coach who...
- loves helping individuals or teams achieve extraordinary results? You help them achieve big goals by observing, listening and questioning.
- operates independently? Your business is essentially you. You have to wear all the heavy hats – coach, accountant, manager, marketer and the business owner.
- wants a full client load? You want to build your practice to a point where you have as many clients as you want – earning what you need and loving what you do.
My clients are very passionate about being coaches and are very motivated to build successful practices. They want a compelling, credible web website to convince prospects to sign up for coaching.
The types of coaches I work with include:
- Emerging coaches who want to go from a handful of clients to a full thriving practice within the next 6 months or less. They don't want to waste their time. They want expert help now.
- Superstar student coaches who are already researching and building their coaching practice before they finish training. They are ready to rock now. Why wait?
- Established coaching professionals who didn't need a website in the past, but due to new marketing strategies and new goals, want to leverage the Web to grow their business.
Do any of these situations sound familiar?
- “I need more clients - period. I’ve managed to build something of a practice, but to really earn what I need, I need to have even more clients and be able to get them faster and easier.”
- "I need more good clients. Ok, I now realize that not every client is ideal. I want to weed out the poor candidates and really speak to the good ones. I need to appeal to good clients."
- “I’ve heard website war stories about other coaches wasting a lot of time and money on websites that don't work. My budget is tight and I need to make every dollar count.”
- "I cringe when someone asks about my website and I have to give them a lame story about how it's coming soon. I get the feeling that they think I'm not serious about what I do."
- "I've got a lot of marketing ideas I want to implement but they keep tying back to my website. I'm hesitant with my marketing. I'm not confident in putting my name out there without a good solid website to back me up."
These situations can be frustrating. They can slow you down or even stop your progress. They can cause you to lose hope of attaining your goals. Boo!
I will have the greatest success with coaches
who have the following ideals:
- You've made the decision. The decision to make coaching your primary profession will be one of the most powerful forces to your success.
- You've chosen a niche (or a target market) – In addition to knowing what you will do (relationship coaching, spiritual coaching, transition coaching), you also know how you will reach this audience (talks, call potential partners, write articles). You also know what your market desires greatly (find love, feel energized, business success, etc). If you don’t have a niche, then you've made the decision to be broad for now.
- You've taken business/marketing classes – The business of coaching is a different skill set than coaching itself. If you have no clue, then you will learn these business skills whether by trial and error, reading books, or taking a class. If you haven’t, I suggest doing so or be aware and prepare to invest time in this side of your business.

I like that your tone is casual and relaxed, yet professional and informative; you do not use too much jargon or "geek speak". I also like how you provide information that creates an "A-ha!"; moment in my brain. I always look forward to the next issue.

"I sent a potential client to the site last night after a complimentary session, and she loved it! She signed up tonight as a client! She also read the entire 9 page article after signing up for my newsletter, and loved that to!"

"Even though my website might be a small project in the eyes of many web designers, it was my baby and I needed someone I could trust to help me.
I’m an independent, small business owner. I don’t get too many shots at the internet. I didn’t want to learn the internet. I wanted to get it done right the first time.
I wanted someone I could trust,
work
well with and have confidence in. You were a superb fit for me.
Thanks Kenn."

“I LOVE MY WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. I’m so proud of it. My business Partner Susan Olson (who is a branding coach and comes from a marketing/ advertising background) said “It’s FANTABULOUS.
I think it is BEAUTIFUL, EYE-CATCHING, LOGICAL, THOUGHT-PROVOKING AND COMPELLING.” And she never uses all caps. ;) Thanks Kenn. I’m going to write you a testimonial that’ll make you blush.”
