As a coach, you are essentially a one-person business. You are a professional selling your time and a service that isn’t always quickly and easily understood. You need to educate, build relationships and earn trust. A great way to do this is to use information. That’s why Robert’s stuff is great. It’s attraction selling no "hard sell." It's a win-win promotion of your services that leads potential clients to the choice of working with you.

- RM’s InfoGuru Marketing Manual – is an excellent resource and it includes a lot. My suggestion is to make your best choice about which marketing strategy you want to pursue and give it a go. That might be a combination of what feels natural to you, what you like, and where you want your practice to be down the road. That might sound clichéd, but that’s the deal. It all starts with creating a crystal clear description of what you want, and moving forward from there.
- Robert Middleton’s Website Toolkit – is another superb resource. It’s well organized and rich in content. Not only does it include useful marketing tips geared toward the one-person professional(coaches), it helps you to think from a marketing perspective. The websites I build are use RM’s principles, popular web-marketing strategies and marketing techniques for coaches.
- Robert’s Marketing Action Plan - The first time I used this, I felt tremendous momentum and energy, as well as clarity in my marketing strategy. It has now become a tool that I use from time to time to align my efforts in the right direction. Highly recommended if you are feeling off-track, whether in your marketing or other aspects of business.
