How much does this program cost?
My base program, The Client Converter Website Development Program costs $3,500. I take on special situation (custom) projects on a case-by-case basis for which I will give you a project fee. For smaller projects and consulting help I charge hourly depending on the situation.

Who host’s the website?
I do not host your website. I set you up with a trusted, established 3rd party provider: GoDaddy.com. They have been excellent, easy to use and supportive. I take care of the making sure your website is uploaded to the host and runs properly. You don’t have to worry about technical hosting issues.

Who own’s the website?
You do. I also give you all the source files(ex. graphics) associated with the website. In our agreement, you can only use it for it’s intended purpose - promoting your business.

Do I need software to update the Website?
You will purchase Adobe Contribute($150 one time) and I will train you on how to use it to update your website including changing copy, adding photos, adding pages and adding links.

What is your process? Meetings? Phone Calls?
I will lead you week-by-week through the steps to completing your website. I do the graphics, coding, and project managing, and you do the writing (with my help). We will have scheduled calls and send emails back and forth to complete the work. There are no in-person meetings. You will have essentially weekly homework assignments.

What email list manager do you use?
I set you up with Aweber unless you already have another provider. Aweber is (if not the) a top provider that gets your emails to your end users. They have an easy to use interface that I will guide you through.

How does the writing part get done?
I send you questions that you will answer and those answers will result in copy for your website. Additionally, I provide sample copy for various messages such as your newsletter welcome message. In short, you write the copy with my guidance.

How do update my website myself?
You will be trained on how to update your website using Adobe Contribute. You will be able to add articles, add pages, add links and change content.

What do you do with Search Engines?
Your website is designed with clean, light-weight code. This makes it easy for search engines to access your website content in order to capture the information into their database. It also ensures your website is easy for users to see across different computers and browsers. I also submit your website to top search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) so that your website begins to get found. Your website will also be displayed in my portfolio which is likely to be the faster way search engines find your website.

The Client Converter Program is not a full-out search engine optimization program. This program is designed to help you create a professional website that helps you convince clients to work with you. If, in the future, you choose to be more aggressive (keyword enhancements, inbound linking) with traffic on search engines, you will be in a good position to grow from this program.

What if I need help in the future?
Your website is designed to be maintained by you for the next one to two years. When your business grows you may need to update/enhance your website to accomodate. We can discuss enhancements at that time. Additionally, your website is also designed with simple code so that if you wish to hire another developer, you can do so easily.
